The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC) will provide a Virginia Case Management Community of Practice Call. This call will help case managers share best practices and strategies for keeping clients engaged in care and virally suppressed.
At the request of Case Management teams on the May call, the June call will continue the discussions started in May regarding continuity of care and coordination of services during funding changes. Teams have committed bringing lists of local resources to meet housing, transportation, food, mental health, substance use and other support services formerly funded by the Virginia Ryan White Part B Program. We will divide into regional breakouts to share these resources and build regional resource lists.
Please note: session facilitators are not employed by nor representatives of the Virginia Department of Health or the Health Resources and Services Administration. As such, they will not be able to answer questions pertaining to why funding was cut. The purpose of this call is to provide a solution-focused space for programs to coordinate service delivery moving forward.
This program is not open to Ryan White consumers.
This program will be offered using the Zoom platform. A link to the Zoom address will be provided after registration. For questions about this program, please email robert.rodney@vcuhealth.org or call 804.828.2475
