Description

Cultural Humility, Equity, and Responsiveness in HIV Prevention and Care is a 1-day program that explores the intersections of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, substance use, and other factors which may contribute to systemic marginalization. The course will examine how social determinants of health, unconscious bias, and stigma impact client engagement and retention in HIV care and prevention services.

The program will then provide best practices and skills-building opportunities to improve practitioner and systemic cultural humility, equity, and responsiveness promoting principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion when working with the various populations outlined above.
