Case Management Community of Practice: Screening for DV/IPV in HIV Settings

Description

The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC) will provide a Virginia Case Management Community of Practice Call. This call will help case managers share best practices and strategies for keeping clients engaged in care and virally suppressed.

This month's program will feature Gabby Hutchinson from VCU Health's Project Empower program.  Project Empower works around-the-clock to help families who experience violence intimate partner (domestic) violence, sexual violence or human trafficking, and are connected to VCU Health, VCU or the communities we serve.  Gabby will provide information on screening and intervention case managers can use in HIV care and prevention settings.
